Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- cabbage - 4 c
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- green peppers - 10 item
- onions - 4 c
- red peppers - 12 item
- green tomatoes - 10 item
- 1/2 turmeric - 1 item
How to make pepper relish:
Grind vegetables, add salt and let stand overnight. Rinse vegetables. Mix the rest of ingredients with vegetables. Simmer 3 minutes. Makes about 8 pints.Recipe categories: Sauces, Salsas, Jams and preserves.
