  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • grated orange peel - 1 tsp
  • rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces - 4 c

How to make rhubarb sauce:

Cook rhubarb and orange peel in a minimal amount of water for about 10 minutes. Combine rest of ingredients. Mix until smooth. While stirring, slowly add to rhubarb mixture and cook until slightly thickened.
