Ingredients/Components
- frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed - 1 lb
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- can undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- sharp cheese, grated - 1 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1/4 item
- crumbled corn flakes for topping or sprinkle shredded cheese on top - 1 item
How to make potato casserole:
Grease 8 x 11-inch casserole dish with margarine. Saute celery and onion. Mix frozen potatoes, celery and onion. Add sour cream and soup; mix well. Add melted margarine and cheese. Mix and pour into casserole, top with topping. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Can be doubled.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
