Ingredients/Components

  • frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed - 1 lb
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • carton sour cream - 1 oz
  • sharp cheese, grated - 1 c
  • stick margarine, melted - 1/4 item
  • crumbled corn flakes for topping or sprinkle shredded cheese on top - 1 item

How to make potato casserole:

Grease 8 x 11-inch casserole dish with margarine. Saute celery and onion. Mix frozen potatoes, celery and onion. Add sour cream and soup; mix well. Add melted margarine and cheese. Mix and pour into casserole, top with topping. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Can be doubled.
