- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- can water - 1 item
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced and drained - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- can beef consomme - 1 item
- long grain rice not Minute - 1 onion,
How to make rice casserole:
Saute onion and rice in margarine until brown. Put in 2 1/2-quart casserole dish with other ingredients. Combine well. Cover and cook one hour at 350°. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Main dish, Casseroles.
