  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • corn flakes - 2 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/4 lb
  • sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
  • cubed potatoes - 2 lb

How to make potato casserole:

Boil potatoes about 5 minutes and drain. Mix most of margarine with potatoes. Then mix with sour cream, onions, cream of chicken soup, Cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Place in large casserole dish. Mix remainder of margarine with corn flakes which have been crushed. Place on top of potato mixture. Cook in 350° oven for 1 hour.
