Pork chop dinner
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- chopped onions - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 tsp
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- pork chops - 4 item
- to 6 potatoes, quartered - 4 item
- large carrots, cut into 1-inch slices - 4 item
How to make pork chop dinner:
Saute pork chops in hot oil in an electric skillet set at 300° for 15 minutes, turning once; drain. Top pork chops with vegetables; dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water and pour over vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to 220°, cover and cook 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove meat and vegetables to serving platter, reserving drippings in skillet. Combine flour and 1 cup water, mixing until smooth. Add salt to gravy while it's cooking. Gradually add mixture to drippings. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, stirring constantly.
