Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 1/4 lb
- shortening - 1/4 c
- 5 oz - 3 (10
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- spaghetti, cooked and drained - 1/2 lb
- parsley, chopped - 1/4 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- pimento, chopped - 1/4 c
- garlic cloves, chopped - 2 item
- grated Cheddar - 1/2 lb
- diced turkey or chicken - 3 c
How to make turkey tetrazzini:
In skillet, saute first 4 ingredients. In 3-quart pot, combine soup, pimento, parsley, onion mixture, cooked meat and one-half of cheese. Bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes. In 3-quart dish, place spaghetti and stir in butter. Add meat-soup mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Turkey.
