  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • light brown sugar - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • white Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

Cream sugar and butter. Add well-beaten eggs and nuts last. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Turn oven to 325° and bake 35 minutes.
