  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • white Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, Karo, salt and nuts. Place in an unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 420° for 15 minutes, then at 325° for 30 minutes. Test with a knife until clean.
