Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
How to make pecan pie:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, Karo, salt and nuts. Place in an unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 420° for 15 minutes, then at 325° for 30 minutes. Test with a knife until clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
