  • fat - 1/2 c
  • butter or oleo - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • white sugar
  • eggs, room temperature - 2 item
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make pecan crispies:

Mix fat, butter, sugar and eggs well. Then add dry ingredients with nuts. Mix well. Cool in refrigerator for about 2 hours or overnight. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°. Remove immediately to rack to cool.
