Pecan crispies
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- sifted all-purpose flour
- beaten eggs - 2 item
How to make pecan crispies:
Cream shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add pecans. Spoon onto a greased cookie sheet. One tablespoon of mixture makes a good size cookie. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes approximately 5 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
