Pecan puffs
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg whites - 3 item
- sugar, packed - 1 c
How to make pecan puffs:
Beat egg whites and salt until stiff. Gradually add sugar to egg whites, beat 5 to 10 minutes with electric mixer. Stir in vanilla and pecans, mix gently. Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 200° for 1 hour or until firm to touch. Store in airtight container.
