Peanut soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 1 stick
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- crunchy peanut butter - 2 c
- chicken broth - 8 9
- peanuts - 8 10
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- celery salt - 1 tsp
- ribs celery, chopped - 4 item
- small onions, chopped - 2 item
How to make peanut soup:
Saute onions and celery in butter until tender. Add flour. Stir until smooth. Add chicken broth; bring to a boil and add peanut butter, celery salt, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Heat to simmer. Serve and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Nigerian.
