Peanut soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- onion, diced - 1/4 item
- dash of celery salt - 1 item
- roasted peanuts, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- stem celery, sliced - 1 item
How to make peanut soup:
Melt butter; add onion and celery. Saut?© until soft but not brown. Add flour and salt and mix until well blended. Add broth and cook, stirring, until thickened. Continue cooking, covered, for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and strain. Return to heat; add peanut butter, celery salt and lemon juice and heat to serving temperature.
