Peanut brittle
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- white syrup - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- Spanish peanuts - 2 c
- soda
How to make peanut brittle:
Boil sugar, salt, white syrup and water to 275°. Add butter and vanilla. Boil to 290°. Add Spanish peanuts. Boil to 300°. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour in buttered cookie sheet. Let cool and break in pieces.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
