Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb
- slices bread, trimmed and cubed - 6 item
How to make overnight breakfast casserole:
Layer ingredients in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole in the following order: bread cubes, cooked sausage, green pepper, mushrooms and cheese. Beat together eggs, milk and salt and pepper and pour over layers. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
