Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- potato flakes - 1/4 c
- wheat germ - 1/4 c
- broiler fryer - 1 item
How to make oven fried chicken:
Cut up and skin chicken. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let stand 1/2 hour. Dip chicken in buttermilk. Shake in a plastic bag, in which you have combined wheat germ, potato flakes, garlic salt and paprika. Place chicken on a baking dish, that has been sprayed with nonstick oil. Bake in oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.For variety, add oregano to the dry ingredients.
