Onion soup



  • large white sweet onions, thinly sliced - 6 item
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • bouillon cubes - 6 item
  • hot water - 6 c
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • slices French bread or toast - 6 item
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c

How to make onion soup:

Brown onions in butter in a large deep skillet until tender. Add dissolved bouillon water and seasoning. Heat thoroughly. Place a slice of toasted bread in each soup bowl and pour soup over it. Sprinkle with cheese. Yield: 6 servings.
