Ingredients/Components
- large white sweet onions, thinly sliced - 6 item
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- bouillon cubes - 6 item
- hot water - 6 c
- Worcestershire sauce
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- slices French bread or toast - 6 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
How to make onion soup:
Brown onions in butter in a large deep skillet until tender. Add dissolved bouillon water and seasoning. Heat thoroughly. Place a slice of toasted bread in each soup bowl and pour soup over it. Sprinkle with cheese. Yield: 6 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low cholesterol, Soups & stews.
