Onion casserole
Ingredients/Components
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- stack crushed Ritz crackers - 1 item
- extra large white sweet onions - 5 item
How to make onion casserole:
Peel and slice onions into thin rings. Saute slowly in butter until limp. Pour 1/2 of the onions into a greased casserole. Cover with Parmesan cheese and cracker crumbs. Repeat layers. Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 6 to 8 servings.When in season, I use Vidalia onions.
