- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- French bread - 1 item
- cup butter - 1/2 item
- large onions Vidalia if available, sliced - 3 item
- lb bay Swiss cheese - 1/2 item
How to make onion casserole:
Stir and saut?© onions in 1/2 cup butter. Place in greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Place over onions: 1/2 lb baby Swiss cheese, sliced or grated, 1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup. Butter slices of French bread and place on top. Bake until bread browns and casserole bubbles. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Side dish, Casseroles.
