- eggs - 2 item
- packed brown sugar
- milk
- salt
- Worcestershire sauce
- chopped onion
- ketchup
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- rubbed sage
- finely crushed saltines
How to make mom's meat loaf:
In a large bowl, beat eggs; add milk, saltines, onion, salt, sage and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape into an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf in an ungreased shallow baking pan. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients; spread over meat loaf. Bake 15 minutes more or until no pink remains. Drain.
