  • eggs - 2 item
  • packed brown sugar
  • milk
  • salt
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • chopped onions
  • ketchup
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • finely crushed saltines

How to make mom's meat loaf:

In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk, saltines, onions, salt and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape into an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch pan. Combine remaining ingredients. Spread 3/4 cup over meat loaf. Bake at 350° for 60 to 65 or or until no pink remains. Drain. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
