Meatballs and sauce
Ingredients/Components
- cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
- lean ground beef
- bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- minced onion - 3 tsp
- brown sugar
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 6 tsp
How to make meatballs and sauce:
Sauce:2 Tbsp. brown sugar2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1 c. ketchup2 Tbsp. vinegar1/2 c. water6 tsp. chopped onion Mix all ingredients for the meatballs. Roll into balls and bake in a large baking dish. Set aside.Sauce: Add ingredients together for sauce and bring to a boil; stir as needed. Pour over meatballs and bake for 30 minutes.
Meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen. Thaw when needed, cover with sauce and bake.
