Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • soft butter - 1/2 c
  • warm water - 3/4 c
  • melted chocolate - 2 sq
  • sour milk - 1 c

How to make moist chocolate cake:

Blend butter and sugar. Add chocolate. Alternately add flour, salt and soda with buttermilk and vanilla. Blend and scrape bowl. Slowly pour water over batter and blend again. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 40 or so minutes at 350°.
