Ingredients/Components
- boneless beef, cubed - 3 lb
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- bacon drippings - 3 Tbsp
- can tomatoes, chopped - 1 oz
- can whole green chiles, drained - 1 oz
- beef broth - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 1/2 c
- garlic salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 2 tsp
- ground cumin - 1 tsp
- to 4 potatoes, sliced - 3 item
How to make mexican stew:
Brown beef and onion in bacon drippings in Dutch oven. Add next 7 ingredients; bring to boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 1 hour. Add potatoes, cover and simmer 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Stew.
