- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- shredded lettuce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped tomatoes - 1 item
- cumin - 1 tsp
- instant rice optional - 3/4 c
- avocados - 1 item
- Fritos corn chips - 1 item
- taco sauce optional - 1 item
How to make mexican stew:
Brown onion with ground beef. Add tomato sauce and paste. Add 3 paste cans water. Add spices and chopped garlic; simmer 40 minutes. Stir in instant rice; let sit 5 minutes without heat. Spoon over corn chips; top with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados and cheese. Add taco sauce as desired.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Stew.
