Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • carrots, sliced - 2 lb
  • large onion in rings - 1 item
  • large green pepper, sliced thinly - 1 item

How to make marinated carrots:

Cook carrots just until tender. Drain onions and peppers. Heat soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper together in a saucepan until mixed well. Pour over vegetables and toss until well coated. Keep refrigerated. Let stand overnight for best flavor.
