Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • carrots, sliced - 2 lb
  • onions, sliced - 2 item
  • green peppers, sliced - 2 item

How to make carrot salad:

Cook carrots until they are tender; cool. Combine soup, oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and sugar in a saucepan. Cook until thoroughly heated, then cool completely. Put vegetables in a bowl and pour soup mixture over all. Stir to mix well. Refrigerate until serving time.
