Spinach quiche
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- skim milk - 1 c
- chicken broth - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- basil leaves - 1 tsp
- minced garlic - 1/2 tsp
- grated Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- dill weed - 1/2 tsp
- ham, cubed - 1/2 c
- Egg Beaters - 4 item
- cooked, crumbled bacon optional - 1/3 lb
- deep dish pie crust unbaked - 1 item
How to make spinach quiche:
Over medium heat, cook onions and garlic in chicken broth until golden. Add spinach and spoon into bottom of pie crust; set aside. In a bowl, combine Egg Beaters, milk, flour, basil, dill and cheese. Pour over spinach mixture. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.Be sure to cover the edges of the crust with foil while baking.
