Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 1/3 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • prepared mustard - 1 tsp
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • onion, sliced - 1 item
  • carrots, sliced - 1 lb
  • bell pepper, sliced - 1 item

How to make copper pennies:

Cook carrots until tender; drain and cool. Add onion and pepper. Mix other ingredients and pour over carrots. Let set for 12 hours. Keeps well in the refrigerator as long as 2 weeks.
