Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • medium onion - 1 item
  • carrots - 2 lb
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • small green pepper - 1 item
  • mustard, salt and Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp

How to make marinated carrots:

Slice and cook carrots; drain and place in layers in glass roasting pan or large Corning pan. Top with thinly sliced onion and green pepper. Repeat layering. Mix other ingredients; pour over carrots. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Taste improves with age. Serves 8 to 10.
