Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- small green pepper - 1 item
- mustard, salt and Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
How to make marinated carrots:
Slice and cook carrots; drain and place in layers in glass roasting pan or large Corning pan. Top with thinly sliced onion and green pepper. Repeat layering. Mix other ingredients; pour over carrots. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Taste improves with age. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
