Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- carrots, peeled and sliced thin - 1 lb
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato soup, undiluted - 1 item
- medium onion, sliced thin - 1 item
- green bell pepper, chopped - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
How to make marinated carrots:
In a saucepan, cover carrots with water and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute and remove from heat. Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add all the other ingredients and chill overnight in refrigerator. Serve cold. Can be stored in the refrigerator for weeks. Makes 1 quart.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
