- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- tomato sauce - 2 c
- Ricotta cheese
How to make manicotti:
Filling:1 lb. Ricotta cheese2 c. tomato sauce Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 4 ingredients; mix well. Drop 3 teaspoonfuls of mixture at a time on lightly hot oil in frying pan. Cook about 30 seconds then turn on other side. Add oil as needed. Drain on paper towel.Mix Ricotta well. Drop 1 heaping tablespoon of Ricotta on each piece of dough. Fold over each end of dough. Put into baking dish and cover with tomato sauce. Bake for 30 minutes. Yields 4 servings.
