Spaghetti alla carbonara
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- black pepper - 1 Tbsp
- cube butter - 1 item
- lean bacon - 1/2 lb
- mushrooms, chopped - 1/2 c
How to make spaghetti alla carbonara:
Slice bacon into 1/2-inch strips and add to skillet. Cook over low heat. Do not overcook (bacon will further cook when added to spaghetti). Pour off excess fat.Add butter and mushrooms to skillet and cook further until butter melts and mushrooms are soft. Beat eggs in bowl. Add pepper and 1/2 cup cheese. Then add eggs and cheese to bacon and mushrooms. Pour over spaghetti. Mix in warm serving bowl, then serve.
