Pasta primavera
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- dry white wine - 1/3 c
- olive oil - 3 Tbsp
- linguini - 8 oz
- tomatoes, diced - 2 item
- large clove garlic, pressed - 1 item
- thinly sliced carrot - 3/4 c
- thinly sliced broccoli stalks - 1 c
- green onions, split and cut into 1-inch pieces - 3 item
How to make pasta primavera:
Measure oil into a large skillet or wok. Add garlic, broccoli, carrot, salt and pepper. Saute, stirring, 3 minutes. Turn off heat to preserve bright color. Cook pasta; drain. Return to pot to keep warm. To skillet, add onions, tomatoes and wine. Cover and cook 3 minutes. Serve vegetables over pasta.
