- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- chopped meat - 1 lb
- small can mushroom stems and pieces - 1 item
- large green pepper, diced small - 1 item
- medium sized onion, diced small - 1 item
How to make american chop suey:
Saute peppers, onions and mushrooms in cooking oil in large frying pan until soft and tender. Brown chopped meat and drain fat. Add vegetables to meat mixture. Add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer 20 to 25 minutes. Cook macaroni according to package directions and add to meat mixture.Recipe categories: Pasta, Meat, Beef.
