Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 4 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- oregano to taste - 1 item
- sausage - 1 lb
- small cans tomato paste - 2 item
- basil to taste - 1 item
- large container Ricotta cheese - 1 item
- box manicotti noodles - 1 item
- fresh garlic, grated - 1/2 tsp
- large can pear tomatoes - 1 item
How to make manicotti:
Cook noodles by package directions. Combine cheeses. Stuff cheese mixture in cooked noodles. Set aside. Mix garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil and lemon juice in blender. Add sausage and blend again. Place sauce mixture on bottom of dish. Lay stuffed noodles on top. Pour remaining sauce over and between noodles and bake at 300° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Pasta, Beef, Manicotti.
