Texas spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- spaghetti - 1 lb
- cans tomatoes - 2 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- grated American cheese - 1 lb
- can chopped mushrooms - 1 item
- green peppers, chopped fine - 2 item
- small onions, chopped fine - 4 item
- chicken fat - 1 c
- stewing hen highly seasoned - 5 lb
How to make texas spaghetti:
Cook chicken, remove from bone. Heat fat and add peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and chicken. Cook until peppers and onions are tender. Boil spaghetti; drain. Add cheese to spaghetti, saving a little for top. Mix in other ingredients. Put in casserole. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 325° until it bubbles, 25 to 30 minutes.
