Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- hot water
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- Ricotta cheese - 1/2 lb
- Mozzarella cheese, sliced - 1 lb
- cloves minced garlic - 2 item
- lasagne noodles - 1/2 lb
How to make lasagne:
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Cook garlic and onion in oil until soft. Add beef and seasoning. Cook until meat is brown. Drain excess grease. Add tomato paste and hot water. Simmer 5 minutes. Blend beaten eggs with Ricotta cheese in small bowl. In 9 x 13-inch pan, put a thin layer of meat sauce, half the noodles, all the Ricotta cheese mixture and half the Mozzarella cheese. Repeat with half remaining meat sauce, rest of noodles, remainder of meat sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
