Beef tips



  • water - 1 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • steak, cut into cubes - 1 to
  • sprinkle of garlic salt or powder - 1 item
  • chopped green pepper or use large pieces of pepper - 1/4 c

How to make beef tips:

Brown steak in oleo. Add garlic salt or powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix and chopped green pepper. (Or use large pieces of pepper and take out before serving if you wish.) Add water and simmer until meat is tender. (May need to add a bit more water while meat is simmering; simmer about 45 to 60 minutes.) Thicken gravy and serve over rice or noodles or mashed potatoes.

Note: You may use cheaper cuts of beef in place of steak. I have used beef stew. Just remember, to simmer longer and add more water when simmering, also a little more garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.
