Mexican chicken casserole



  • butter or margarine - 2 tsp
  • onion - 1 item
  • cans cream of chicken soup - 3 item
  • corn tortillas - 1 doz
  • Cheddar cheese, grated
  • small can diced green chilies - 1 item
  • chicken, boiled, cooled and cut in pieces - 1 item

How to make mexican chicken casserole:

Grease 9 x 1-3inch pan. Fry onion in margarine until tender. Add soup. Tear tortillas in pieces. Layer ingredients as follows: tortillas, soup mixture, chicken, cheese and chilies. Repeat until casserole is full. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes
