Ingredients/Components
- slices bacon - 4 item
- large carrots - 2 item
- dried marjoram leaves - 1/4 tsp
- small red potatoes - 1 lb
- medium size onion - 1 item
- small bunch broccoli - 1 item
- kielbasa Polish sausage - 1 lb
How to make kielbasa stew:
About 30 minutes before serving, cut bacon into 2-inch pieces. Thinly slice carrots and potatoes. Cut broccoli into 2 x 1/2-inch pieces. Cut onion into thin wedges. Slice kielbasa crosswise into 1/2-inch slices.In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until browned. With slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towels to drain. To drippings, in skillet, add carrots, potatoes, broccoli, onion and marjoram. Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add kielbasa slices and 1 cup water to skillet. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp and kielbasa slices are heated through, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with bacon. Makes 4 main dish servings. Contains about 620 calories per serving. Good!
