Hot pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- bell pepper, ground - 1 c
- hot pepper, ground - 2 tsp
- vinegar
- sugar
- Certo liquid - 1 pkg
- red or green food coloring - 1 item
How to make hot pepper jelly:
Boil bell pepper, hot pepper, vinegar and sugar to high boil. Add Certo and boil 1 minute (a rolling boil that cannot be stirred down). Strain. Add red or green food coloring to color desired. Makes 6 half pints.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Vegetables, Jellies.
