Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- cooked, cubed chicken - 3 c
- chopped celery - 2 c
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- minced bell pepper - 1/4 c
- chopped pimentos - 2 Tbsp
- sliced almonds, toasted - 1/2 c
- fresh lemon juice - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper optional - 1 item
- grated cheese Swiss or Cheddar - 2 c
- crushed potato chips - 3 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Mix first 8 ingredients and put in a 9 x 12-inch Pyrex dish. Add a little chicken broth if mixture seems dry. Mix crushed chips and cheese and place on top. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
