Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans biscuits - 2 item
- to 4 chicken breasts - 3 item
How to make chicken pie:
Boil chicken breasts. When done, remove chicken from the broth and separate chicken meat from the bone. Butter Pyrex baking dish. Roll biscuits out, then line the baking dish with biscuits. Next, put a layer of chicken, then cut the butter into pieces and lay on top of chicken. Repeat this process.For Your Top: Lay a layer of biscuits and butter top, then pour the broth in to cover chicken pie. Bake at 450° for about 1 hour, or until crust is browned and dumplings are done inside pie. You may need to add more broth, so pie will not be dry.
