Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 lb
- sour cream - 1 c
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- diced onion - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- bacon bits - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 2 c
How to make hash brown casserole:
Mix hash browns, margarine, sour cream, soup and onion together. Layer casserole dish with 1/2 of mixture and top with a cup of cheese. Top again with mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Top with bacon bits when done.
