Hash brown quiche
Ingredients/Components
- frozen loose-pack shredded hash browns, thawed - 3 c
- melted margarine - 1/3 c
- diced fully cooked ham - 1 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- diced green pepper - 1/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make hash brown quiche:
Press hash browns between paper towel to remove excess moisture. Press into the bottom and up sides of an ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Drizzle with margarine. Bake at 450° for 25 minutes.Combine ham, cheese and green pepper; spoon over crust. In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over all.
Reduce heat to 350°. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Allow to stand 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
