  • granulated sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • sifted cake flour
  • baking powder
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • lemon extract - 1 tsp
  • confectioners sugar - 1 item

How to make golden pound cake:

Preheat oven to 325°. In mixing bowl, blend the Crisco and granulated sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the cake flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk, vanilla and lemon extract
