- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- lemon extract - 1 item
- Cream shortening and sugar
How to make pound cake:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one a a time. Beat well after each addition. Fold in flour and milk. Add your vanilla and lemon extract.
