Glazed pecans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pecan halves - 2 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground allspice - 1/4 tsp
How to make glazed pecans:
Combine sugar, water, cinnamon and allspice in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add pecans and continue cooking 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Place pecans individually on waxed paper. Cool completely. Yields 2 cups.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Fruit, Nuts.
